What is GritWOD

GritWOD is a performance-first training company built on one principle: true strength is the ability to adapt, execute, and get the job done—no matter what. We believe in doing the basics savagely well: building real strength, durable joints, and repeatable conditioning through smart barbell work, loaded carries, athletic movement, and bodyweight training—so you can “lift like a big guy, move like a small one.” Our methods are rooted in proven training science and real-world performance, focused on what actually works when it counts.

Originally crafted for military and first responders, GritWOD is now for anyone who wants to train with purpose—whether your mission is the job, the mountain, or the court. We run tactical performance training for people who need strength and work capacity that holds up under pressure, and we also coach Pickleball Strength, Performance & Injury Prevention—helping athletes move faster, hit harder, and stay healthy through strong knees, hips, ankles, shoulders, and bulletproof conditioning.

What makes GritWOD different is our Body Analysis & Performance Dashboard—a custom training operating system built from your structure, body stats, and goals. Instead of guessing, you get a ranked Tier 1/2/3 lift map, clear standards and targets, and conditioning benchmarks that match your build. The result: higher ROI training, fewer wasted reps, and a path you can actually measure.

Whether you’re preparing for hard days, long seasons, or the next challenge life throws your way, GritWOD equips you to adapt to your environment and perform—no matter what.

Meet the Coach

"No individual has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable of."
